Moscow Metro Song

In the most Russian intelligentsia cliché act of my life, I translated an Okudzhava song.

In my metro I never feel too crowded
‘Cause there’s always something like a song about it
Where for the chorus we would write
Pass on the left, stand still on the right

It is a sacred and stern command
The ones on the right must stand, must stand
And the ones who pass by, as they stride
Must mind to keep on the left side
